About this Cause

JFCS is proud to kickoff Mental Health Awareness Month by hosting Race With A View on Sunday, May 5th, a 5K or 1K Family Fun Run in downtown Long Beach. This event raises vital funds to support the life-changing programs JFCS offers to all in our community without regard for race, religion, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identify or immigration status. JFCS is continuously working to develop new partnerships and build our resources in order to increase the reach of our services. This impact can only be achieved with your belief in and commitment to our work. And, we have so much further to go! Participating with us through Race With A View will enable JFCS to continue to provide our mental health and social services to all in need. You can further the healing of our clients and make a difference to those seeking our services in the future by making counseling, a friendly visit, and emergency financial assistance support accessible to those who seek it.
